Difficulty tiers
Normal difficulty has over 70 location nodes on the map, according to a launch player. Higher difficulties replay the map with stronger enemies. Guides say boss damage on Nightmare and Inferno outgrows plain health and armor, so builds lean on percentage damage reduction, dodge, life on hit and an emergency legendary such as Unyielding Cuirass. Players also report that only higher difficulties drop gear that can be traded.
Mythic Rift
From the store description: ultimate challenges, timed trials and escalating difficulty tiers, with better rewards the deeper you go. An official screenshot shows a level 70 character in a run marked T9 with a timer and a row of skull markers, which looks like a tier 9 rift in progress.
Paragon
Reported by players as a separate tree that opens at max level. The launch-day guides split it into core (main stat, movement speed, max life), offense (critical chance and damage, attack speed), defense and utility (life on hit, item and gold find), and say the movement speed bonus caps at +25%. None of this is in official material yet.
How slow is the climb?
Players felt levelling slow down sharply after level 15. One forum post, citing the game's config, gives the kills needed per level as 2 at level 1, 35 at level 5, 900 at level 15, 20,000 at level 50 and 50,000 at level 70. We could not verify those figures. They fit what players describe: fast early levels, then a long idle grind.

What is the max level in Deskrawl?
Level 70. The Peak of Power achievement is for reaching it, and official screenshots show level 70 characters.
How many difficulties are there?
A launch player counts three added difficulty levels. Guides name Nightmare and Inferno above Normal, and Inferno is the one tracked by achievements.
What is the Mythic Rift?
The store page calls the mode Mythic Realms: timed trials with escalating tiers and better rewards the deeper you go. The achievement for entering it is named Into the Endless Realm.
What does the Rainbow Key do?
Spending one enters the dream realm, according to the Key to the Dream achievement. 1.3% of players had done it a day after launch.
When does Paragon unlock?
A launch player reports the Paragon tree needs max level. A community guide lists four categories: core, offense, defense and utility.
